Ilias Apostolou, a young furrier who has had a hard time under the dictatorship, leaves Castoria in 1971 with a photograph he finds in the street in order to go to France, to a distant relative of his, Gerassimos Tzivas, who has been living there since 1950 and whom he asks for help in finding work in Paris. A misunderstanding is created around this photograph, which sets off a series of events that culminate in a dramatic finale.
